KHD was appointed to oversee the FF&E and undertake cosmetic design enhancements for a newly purchased family home situated on a serene, leafy cul-de-sac bordering the stunning Topanga State Park. Surrounded by the natural beauty of suburban Los Angeles, the property’s location was a key influence on the design, inspiring a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience for the young family to enjoy their picturesque surroundings fully.
We approached the project with a focus on creating a home that felt calm, timeless, and inviting. A neutral colour palette was chosen to provide a serene foundation, complemented by carefully curated vintage pieces that added texture, warmth, and character. The inclusion of these unique elements brought a sense of charm and authenticity, ensuring the home felt personal and lived in while maintaining a refined aesthetic.
